Okay, writer friends–here’s a video I stumbled across today about how to find freelance writing jobs online, created by Rob Ferrall, the mind behind Daily Writing Jobs. This video has a lot of great tips about finding writing opportunities targeted to the type of writing you want to do and your areas of expertise. Anyone who has spent hours lurking around freelance writing boards or job posting sites, only to be discouraged by calls for content on topics they know nothing about, will see the beauty of the system. The video is long, about nine minutes, but think of all the time you will save job hunting!
Evidently Rob is selling an eBook about how to make money writing online. His site boasts the typical sales-ey, overblown copy found in most “make money online” scams, but his eBook is only nine bucks, and he offers a six-month money-back guarantee. And heck, I’d have paid nine bucks for the information in his video!
Rob claims that within two weeks you could get more writing jobs than you can handle, and I can vouch for that claim as well. The internet is FULL of websites that need content, and there is no shortage of work out there for decent writers with the discipline and determination to make a go of it. Freelance writing is not a “get rich quick” scheme, but it is entirely possible to make a modest living off writing web content.
So what are you waiting for? Check out the video, then go scope out some writing opportunities!Good luck, and happy writing!
