I haven’t had time to peruse a lot of blog posts this week. And most of the posts I did read were from bloggers I discovered through Rachel Held Evans’s #Mutuality 2012, which I featured in last week’s Friday Favorites.
Part of the reason I’ve had so little time for blog-reading is that my husband launched the newest arm of his music business, DeepWater Music, this week! And it is incredibly cool, if I do say so myself. Check this out:
So, for anywhere from $69-$149 (plus any extras you want) you can get a full instrumental recording of your song. (An extra track with someone singing the melody is included gratis.) Seriously, it’s an INCREDIBLE deal, AND it helps mission-minded Christian musicians fill in the gaps in their income. (Not just us, either–we’ve got others lined up to help.)
Since we’re trying to get the word out about this, we’re looking for 5-10 people who would be willing to try it out, and let us use their song and their story in our marketing. If you’re interested in being one of those people, you can email my wonderful husband Aaron at songs@songrwriterssecret.com (tell him you saw it on my blog), or just shoot me an email at jennyraearmstrong@gmail.com, and I’ll get it to him. Obviously, reviewers get a very reduced rate–we can work out the deets via email. 🙂
Anyway, keep SongwritersSecret.com in mind if you need a demo recorded on the cheap, a jingle to put behind your radio spot (we’ll write the melody for you), a REALLY COOL present for your American-Idol-obsessed 14-year-old granddaughter, or if you’re just itching for a way to express your musical ideas.

Thanks for bearing with my sales pitch! Because, yanno, even artists have to eat. 😉 Have a great weekend, everyone!
