After the flooding that hit my hometown, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency issued warnings to avoid several beaches. The sewer systems had been compromised, and high levels of E.coli bacteria were found in the water. In other words: Stay out of the water, or you’ll find yourself swimming in–well–you get the idea.
That’s kind of how I’ve felt about the internet lately.
I know, I was on vacation, and haven’t blogged in FOREVER.
But I just haven’t had the heart to for the last two weeks. Outrage has burst its banks, sweeping people away and causing all sorts of damage.
I’ll wade back in when the water’s a little cleaner, or when I have something constructive to say. Right now, it all just makes me feel vaguely ill.
In the meantime–be kind, people!
